Rosengärtchen Nursery

Nursery for children aged six months to three years

The Rosengärtchen Nursery was opened in 2002 and has places for 48 children. It is very popular in Wiesbaden. It has four groups of up to 12 children each, preferably as mixed age groups comprising babies (from the age of six months) and toddlers (one and two-year-olds). The nursery teachers have wide-ranging experience and support the children in their development.

The premises

The nursery is accommodated on two floors of a spacious older villa. The rooms are large and brightly coloured, and equipped with modern, age-appropriate games and toys. The ground floor houses the kitchen, three group rooms and the children’s sanitary facilities. The first floor houses another group room, a movement room and the children’s community room, plus a second kitchen and sanitary facilities. The children’s sleep room is located in the basement. The greened outdoor area is fenced in, and offers a climbing frame, swings and a sandpit.

Educational concept

The nursery’s educational approach is based on the Hessian Education Plan (BEP). Our educational concept combines Reggio and Montessori principles with aspects from movement education and early musical education. We always focus primarily on the needs and interests of the child. Our educational planning is geared to the life situation of the individual child and of his/her group, while paying attention to both current and future experiences and challenges. We provide the children with an attractive environment that is tailored to their needs and interests.

Our motivated team and our facility managers give your child the feeling of security necessary for discovering new things every day. We offer your child a safe environment for expanding and developing his/her abilities. Our top priorities are the welfare of your child and support for early childhood development. Our team supports and encourages the children’s all-round development in close consultation with their parents.

Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.,
Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
