Bilingual secondary modern school
Schooling with practical relevance
The bilingual secondary modern school on the Rüsselsheim Campus offers a practical education to children who have completed Years 5 and 6, which are common to all school types. However, during these two years, teaching is differentiated at an early stage, based on pupils’ academic ability and preference, linguistic ability and individual needs for support, particularly in the main subjects.
In the future it will be essential to have a good command of English. More and more universities are switching their degree programmes to English, international firms require English for business, and English is already very important on social networks. Our educational philosophy is “naturally bilingual!”
The secondary modern school on the Rüsselsheim Campus supports pupils with learning difficulties by building their self-confidence and encourages them, after completing Year 10, to study for a higher school-leaving qualification (for entrance to a university or a university of applied sciences).
