Registration procedure for nursery and kindergarten
Pre-registration for nursery/kindergarten in Wiesbaden
To join the waiting list for childcare in Wiesbaden, you have to pre-register, which involves stating your interest in a nursery or kindergarten place at our organisation’s facilities. By prioritising the facilities you also indicate which one you want your child to attend.
Please send your completed pre-registration form to the administration of the Obermayr Krippe & Kindergarten, preferably by emailing it to kita(at)obermayr.com. You can also submit it by fax (0611 3601539-99) or by post to Verwaltung der Obermayr Krippe & Kindergarten, Hohenstaufenstrasse 7, 65189 Wiesbaden.
When we receive your pre-registration we will send you confirmation by email. We store the data supplied to us in our database. All the information is treated confidentially.
Please remember to register your child in good time on WiKITA (Wiesbaden’s central electronic pre-registration system). Please note that we can only consider children who are registered on WiKITA and whose registered main residence is in Wiesbaden. You can pre-register online at www.wikita-wiesbaden.de.
Schedule for applying for nursery places in Wiesbaden
31 January: registration deadline
We need to receive your pre-registration by 31 January at the latest, to consider your child for admission on 1 August of the same year.
February:
As of 1 February, we begin planning the allocation of places for the following nursery year. If you do not confirm a written offer of a place, we will allocate the place to another child on our waiting list.
If we are unable to provide your pre-registered child with a place by the time he/she reaches the age of 2½ years (by the starting date), your stored data will be deleted.
Important information about allocation of places in Wiesbaden
Allocation of places after the year has started:
For nurseries and kindergartens, the operating year begins on 1 August and ends on 31 July of the following calendar year. Children can be admitted at other times only if a place given to another child becomes vacant. If this happens, we will gladly try to accommodate your desired starting date.
