For children aged six months until they start school

The Pebbles day-care centre opened its doors in 2009, located in natural surroundings close to the Main-Taunus Arboretum. The facility comprises three nursery groups each with up to 11 children, two kindergarten groups each with up to 25 children, and two pre-school groups each with up to 22 children.

The centre shares the premises with the Obermayr International School’s primary and secondary schools.

The premises

Our rooms are specious and attractive. Additional areas such as a studio, a large movement room and a large outdoor area add more space and offer a wide range of opportunities. The nursery also has a separate sleep room.

Educational concept

Our aim is to support the children in their individual all-round development. We combine proven educational approaches from Montessori and Reggio pedagogy with movement education and early musical education. The facility focuses on promoting natural multilingualism. An English native speaker works with each group from kindergarten onwards. In the preschool (last year of kindergarten), the children are grouped in age cohorts and receive intensive preparation in English and German for the bilingual school. Targeted support and playful work on projects make it easier for the children to transition to primary school. Our team supports and encourages the children’s all-round development in close consultation with their parents.

Opening hours

We are open Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We offer ¾-day places and all-day places.
