Kindergarten and preschool for children aged three until they start school
The Rosenkindergarten is an established institution among Wiesbaden’s childcare facilities and has a total of eight groups housed in two buildings. Ever since 1967 it has been committed to Montessori pedagogy, early musical education and intensive preschool work, all of which are regarded as highly important. Since 1992 the Rosenkindergarten has also been a leader in the intensive promotion of bilingualism.
The premises on Rosenstr. 6 (kindergarten)
A beautiful detached villa with extensive grounds close to the Wiesbaden park “Am Warmen Damm” accommodates five groups on four floors. A system of adjoining rooms, differentiation rooms and large connecting doors on each floor enables the different areas to be combined and used flexibly.
The premises on Rosenstr. 8 (preschool)
The preschool (last year of kindergarten) has three groups taking a maximum of 48 children, with a special focus on fostering the use of English. All group areas have a differentiation room for language learning in small groups. Part of the outdoor area is integrated into the playground of the primary school (Years 1 and 2).
Multilingualism
Promoting natural multilingualism (German/English) is an integral part of our educational concept. English native speakers are always present to work with the children in their groups in line with the immersion method.
Educational concept
Our overall educational concept incorporates the Hessian Education Plan (BEP). We combine the strengths of proven approaches such as Montessori and Reggio pedagogy with movement education, early musical education and encouraging early multilingualism. The main focuses are social integration, promoting cognitive abilities, and providing age-appropriate support to help the children through the day.
Our motivated team and facility managers give your child the feeling of security necessary for discovering new things every day. We offer your child a safe environment for expanding and developing his/her abilities. Our top priorities are the welfare of your child and support for early childhood development. The team supports and encourages the children’s all-round development in close consultation with their parents.
